The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is an active body of parents, caregivers and community-minded people who work together with the Principal and Staff of the school to provide the best school environment for our students. Hillarys Primary School P&C organizes fundraising events. The proceeds from events are used to purchase resources for the school.

The objectives of a P&C association are to promote the interests of the school through:
- Cooperation between parents, teachers, students and members of the general community
- Assisting the provision of resources, facilities and amenities for the school
- The fostering of community interest in educational matters

- Brings parents together to share information and views
- Assists the school in building positive attitudes and achieving the school’s strategic plans
- Supports school programs and school events
How to Join the P&C
- Parents and caregivers with students in Kindergarten through to Year 6 are welcome to join and be a part of our team

Actions always speak louder than words when it comes to valuing your child’s learning.
Joining the P&C is one of the best ways to show your child/ren how much you value their education and how interested you are in what they do.
You are also showing your child/ren how committed you are to helping students and your school community.
A lot can and has been achieved through the P&C and the school, working together towards common goals.
