If your child was born between 1st July 2022 and 30th June 2023, they are due to commence Kindy in 2027.

Local Intake Area School

We always welcome new students, however as a local intake area school, priority is given to children who reside within the boundaries of the school. Please refer to our boundary map for more information on the local intake area.

Application Process

Enrolment is a two-step process for all students Kindergarten to Year 6. An Application for Enrolment Form (Part A) is submitted, and once written confirmation of acceptance has been received, is followed by a Student Enrolment Form (Part B). Kindergarten is pre-compulsory and the enrolment concludes at the end of the year. Parents must submit a new Application for Enrolment in Pre-Primary as it is the first year of compulsory schooling.

Step 1: Application for Enrolment

This can be done by completing the editable PDF version of the application and returning it with the supporting documentation listed below to our friendly office staff or emailed to hillarys.ps@education.wa.edu.au

Supporting Documentation

The following documentation is required to be submitted with your application for enrolment:

Child’s Birth Certificate: a birth certificate or extract of birth, or other identity documents, such as passport if born overseas, provide one of the following:

  • Australian Birth Certificate only (if one or both parents born in Australia)
  • Australian Birth Certificate and Australian Passport/Citizenship Certificate or Foreign Passport and Visa Grant Notice including Date of Arrival in Australia (if both parents born overseas)
  • Foreign Birth Certificate and Australian Passport/Citizenship Certificate or Foreign Passport and Visa Grant Notice including Date of Arrival in Australia

Child’s Australian Immunisation Record

  • must be no more than two months old from date of application, available online from Medicare, visit Medicare Australia website

Proof of Current Residential Address. Evidence of current residential address must be provided at the time of enrolment. This should include:

  • a copy of the rates notice or lease agreement, proving the applicant is residing at the address; PLUS
  • a utility bill (electricity or gas) or connection request/advice notification if new property/lease agreement

Family Court Orders (if applicable)

Visa Entitlement Verification. If your child is not a permanent resident of Australia, you must provide evidence of current visa subclass and previous visa subclass (if applicable, such as if current visa is a bridging visa)

Any other information relating to health or medical condition, disability or additional needs (if applicable)

Step 2: Confirmation of Enrolment

Once the application for enrolment has been approved, parents will be sent confirmation of acceptance and invited to complete the enrolment process by completing Student Enrolment Form (Part B) and supporting documentation as required.
